A low torque, frangible (break-a-way) nut, installed with a standard wrench and removed by authorized persons by a special procedure. Intended for mounting traffic signs with galvanized bolts. Available only in 5/16-18 (modified oversize) thread size to accommodate a galvanized bolt.
